Bows Bows everywhere BOWS!

Sherry and I have decided that once she gets to Las Vegas and gets settled she is going to help me market my bows to boutiques! She makes some awesome picture boards and paintings for kids rooms. She is also going to teach me how to make her necklaces and bracelets. I cannot wait! I am not a sales person nor do I know how to market my bows and costume clothes. Since Sherry knows all about marketing we will be a great team!

Here are some pictures of a few of the bows I have done for Sunni and some Moms requests.

Is Winter finally here? WHAT?

Oh my goodness. I went to pick Sunni up from school today and it was FREEZING! Luckly I have the explorer so instead of walking I drove with the heater on full blast. If it was raining today I am sure we would have another snow day! Craziness I tell you! This is Las Vegas Nevada, not Denver!

Aside from all that none sense we made a deep impact this weekend on the packing. Eric got the kids' room all packed and ready to go. We moved the boys bunk beds into the living room so we can shut down their room for good. They loved the idea. It's like a huge bedroom for them to mess up..Great..lol So now all we have left are the closets, our bedroom, the coat closets, the living room, kitchen and pantery. Okay well maybe we didn't make a "deep" impact BUT, we did get some stuff thrown away and the other stuff packed. Since we will be in the new house before the weather gets too warm we packed away the boys summer clothes. Sunni's are all mixed so I need to do that this week. I am usually good with that sorta stuff but I guess with being in the Hospital a few weekends ago I am just getting on my feet again.

Last week a boy at Sunni's school. (Romeo and yes that's his real name..lol) gave Sunni a beautiful rose. Sunni was blushing. At this point she cannot stand boys but, she plays with Romeo because he's "nice" to her..Her own words. So I thought it would be cute if Sunni used her allowence to buy Romeo a Hot Wheel and I would pay for a Thank you card for him. She loved the idea so, we did just that. Since there was no school on Friday. (staff development day) I would hold onto the card and car until Monday for her. I made the dumb mistake of leaving it on the computer desk. When Michael and Joey came home for the weekend within 2 hours Michael spotted the hot wheel ,opened it and threw it on the floor. I found out an hour later and I became disapointed in him. I explained it wasn't his to open and that it was a gift. The card was right under it in plain sight. Michael felt bad and I just asked him to be more careful and ask next time. Lesson learned. Today Sunni gave Romeo the card before class and he had the BIGGEST smile on his cute little face. He even told Sunni "Thank you".. Ahhh to be in kindergarten again.. It's so cute.

Sunni is hungry for snack time. I'll write again tomorrow!

Catching up and Packing up!

Today is the day we start packing. Yea! Getting ready to move into a new house. Hopefully soon if not by April. We'll go to AZ for Spring Break in April to help Sherry pack up and move here to Vegas with us. It's going to be awesome. She is such a great Mother-in-law. She treats me like one of her daughters. Sherry is so artistic. We have so many things in common.

It should be a wonderful change of pace for her. And not as hot ta-boot..lol. For a long time now Eric and I have been playing with the idea of moving to Mesa. He grew up there and has most of his family living there. We just never got around to finalizing everything. My whole family lives here and Eric understands the ties I have. Plus, since he just got a new job with the Clark County School District we are loving life.

(Eric with some of his family)
Left to Right:
Eric's Oldest sister Deanna, Handsome Eric of course!, Eric's Mom Sherry, Youngest sister Jessica and Becky.

-I am going to try and catch up from all the fin things we did last year with all my photos on our computer. I am trying to start from October to recent. We'll see how well I do..lol

The house we hope to move into and Eric in MY car..lol. You can kinda see the kids heads in the back seats..

Let's go back to Halloween. Pictures of Sunni's Costume I made and Her Halloween Party at School.

Here is Sunni before School. She has afternoon Kinder so she doesn't start until 12:45pm. I was so proud of this costume. It took me almost 2 weeks to make everything. We bought the shoes at Target and the basket with Toto at the Halloween Shop.

Sunni in line for School.

Now onto the Disneyland trip. We went November 7th to November 11th 2008.
Sunni got to meet Ariel one on one in the Disney California "Ariel's Grotto". It was a luncheon with all the Princesses.
What a wonderful lunch it was. Everything was so fancy and our family actually got to be the host family for the whole luncheon! We had to ring a bell an announce each Princess as she arrived! We all also had to recite a poem and stand in front of all the guests. That's our Blog top picture with Snow White. Everyone loved the handmade Snow White outfit I made Sunni. She received a lot of compliments. (Even from the princesses)

Joey, Michael and Sunni with their "Bug Goggles"..lol I couldn't help it. They looked so cute! (You can see how wet Michael got on the raft ride)

The kids Mid-air at the Disney Back-Lot.
Joey with one of his favorite characters since he was just a little one.

I tell Eric to say "Cheese" and he looks the other way..lol. Instead of collecting pins on our lanyards we decided to collect those smushed pennies for each area. We stuck them inside the plastic where our Disney park hopper passes where.

Michael got picked for the Jedi Training- He fought Darth Maul..He was so happy.. Joey didn't get picked so we bought him a Disney Light Saber to make up for it!

The kids on the second to last day at CA. Michael with his HUGE jawbreaker. I bought them all Ears! I even got the clip on Minnie ears. Joey wasn't wearing his. It was mickeys waist and Mickey's tail stuck out the back..lol Sunni's was a singed Minnie with the bow and Michael had to get the Jack-Skellington ears..lol

Your typical first day picture at Disneyland!
November 2008 (Joey 9, Sunni 5, and Michael 10)

The kids voted this as their favorite ride. Even Sunni LOVED it. We went on it I think 3 or 4 times the whole vacation. Sunni loved the gingerbread smell in the "Ballroom".

Sunni getting Minnie's autograph.
(The kids got to go to "Toon Town Morning Madness".) He overalls that I made matched Minnie pretty well..

That's it for today. Eric is making peanut butter cookie kisses. I think he may need some help..

Our New Car

Sunni is such a ham. She had to be in the picture of our new car. We had an easy time picking out what car we would choose. Eric wanted something fast and I wanted something black. lol.

Pretty clean for a 92'

This was in October! It's a 92' BMW M3!
