 "The Bug" sitting so girly in her Captain Zuga Shoes

The Bug was telling me all about her "squeakers" she had on.

The bug got her Captain Zuga Yochi-Yochi  Shoes today! Just in time for Holiday on the go shopping. I was VERY impressed with these shoes. They range in size from kids size 4- size 10. The bug wears a size 9 and these were pretty true to size and had some room for her to grow! Bug is 3 years old and is pretty small for her size. As you may tell by the pictures!

Velcro is used to close, they are sturdy and I was afraid the squeaking would be low and not well built into the shoe. But, gladly I was surprised. They are durable for sure and for sure will squeak on and on. 

   You may ask why I didn't get "The Bug" Yochi-Youchi's Miss Mushi Shoes (She's a lady-bug). Well, I have an awesome reason. The bug has so many bug related items I wanted her to be different. And Captain Zuga was perfect for her wardrobe.  Black and white is the ultimate complement to the bugs wardrobe. And I wanted to show that girls can always surprise you! She LOVES them.

I must admit. Usually as soon as we hit the store and the bug comes out of her car seat she then automatically goes into the nearest store cart. This is to avoid her running from me. (Bug is a fast runner as are all my four kiddos) Now these shoes are by no means a license to let your child run free in public just because you can hear their squeaking shoes. They are however wonderful if your child is walking with your spouse and you have lost them both by staring at the dolls for too long (shifty eyes)..lol. I love the idea that on a crowded playground I can keep an eye on the bug because she is the only one squeaking. So even if there is another child that is the same height and so on as the bug then I can feel safe I know mine is the one squeaking!

Also, since we live in a one story house with child locks and child gates everywhere it's nice to be cooking dinner in the kitchen and know EXACTLY where the bug is playing with Sunni without trying to hunt her down.

Another plus of Yochi-Yochi shoes are that they are the first I have seen in America like them. And at $29.95 compared to something you would have to pay a pretty penny to be shipped overseas. I think this is a boss deal. And to top it all off, I was given my shipping code on 11/26/2013 and I received them on 11/29/2013.   

All in all I would give the Yochi Yochi shoes a Mommy Blog vote of 5/5

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

I am thankful for family this holiday. Hope everyone had a super duper filling Thanksgiving! I know my tummy is very satisfied. I was able to spend the Holiday with my Family and extended Family here in Vegas. Sunni made some yummy homemade sugar cookies with easy powered sugar frosting!(While I was busy fussing with my hair and chasing little "bug" around the house.) The cookies were a hit! I was so proud of my Sunni. She did an awesome job. (Mommy helped a little here and there but, shhh no one needs to know.) Here are some great pictures of the family I caught. And of me and some special family members and the Hubby and I of course! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Cupcakery Insanely tasty Review! Cupcakery of Las Vegas, NV

More then JUST Cupcakes!

Cupcakes. I challenge anyone to deny the sweet creamy goodness of a holiday cupcake. Especially from The Cupcakery. When my family and I stepped into this boutique bakery our eyes went ga-ga with sweet delight.

   The store is decorated to the 9's and it feels like a hip custom super-cute confection bakery. Not your ordinary dull cookie cutter bake shoppe. And they sell these cute-ta-boot aprons too! My daughter who is 10, pointed out the edible glitter on almost all of the cupcakes displayed. (What 10 year old girl doesn't love glitter? And edible? Be still her heart!!) My husband pointed out the fresh strawberries on the Strawberry Shortcake cupcakes. My eyes went to the displays of flavors not just in the case but on the counter in glass cake domes. And lastly my 3 year old daughter pointed out the cute pink pillows that sit on the comfy chairs inside. She also begged the WHOLE way home to "pwease-pwwease have a yummy cuppycakers."

Mimi's Pumpkin™ 

Mimi's original pumpkin cake recipe loaded with pecans and covered in cream cheese frosting. Available October through February.

This was my daughters favorite! She LOVES pumpkin. This was a top flavor for me as well. My 10 year old daughter and I are BIG pumpkin lovers. This one reminds me of Fall for sure. We both cannot wait until October to get our yummy pumpkin fill of anything pumpkin flavored may it be candy, pies or now CUPCAKES! Every bite of this confection had some of the crunchy pecan. The cream cheese frosting was so rich and creamy. I loved the mini-candy fall leaves, pumpkin candy corn and the sprinkle of edible golden glitter. This I would say is the BEST flavor to bring to that Holiday dinner or work pot-luck or a friends Holiday party. Even a gift for a host!

Gingerbread 
Traditional gingerbread cake smothered with cream cheese frosting with a fabulous gingerbread crumble on top.

 Available November through December.

This was my personal number one for the holiday season. To be honest I have never really had gingerbread cake. Cookies? Yes. But, I have always been disappointed when I almost chip a tooth at how hard some gingerbread cookies are. Now this cupcake? Oh-my-goodness. This gingerbread cupcake is UNBELIEVABLE! It's yummy warm tingling crumble is the right flavor for the season. If you were afraid to try anything gingerbread because of a bad hard gingerbread cookie experience like me. I beg you to just sample this cupcake. I will never buy a gingerbread cookie again. It is only gingerbread cupcakes from here on out.

Sweet-N-Salty

Swirled Sweet and Salty Caramel and sea salt

Well hello there, craving of the century! If you love sweetness mixed with salty. May I present to you the Sweet-N-Salty Caramel cupcake. This is so rich and posh. Not for the faint of heart. Sweet, Salty? Better then any restaurants attempt at combing these two wanted, needed flavors for desserts. This was the hubby's dream come true. His exact words?  "It doesn't get any more delicious then this. If I could, I would live in this cupcake." I think he enjoyed this beautiful moist delight. Don't you?

Southern Belle™ 
Sumptuous red velvet cake smothered with cream cheese frosting.

This HAS to be The Cupcakery's best selling cupcake!  This is the legendary ruby colored red velvet cake with heavenly creamy rich cream cheese frosting. May I just note our little three year old loved all 4 cupcakes. She didn't have a favorite. But this is the one she kept asking if she could have "more!"

This may be the end of the review, but trust me this is NOT the end of what The Cupcakery can do.
