This set is A-D-R-O-R-A-B-L-E !! Bright and vibrant red with black polka dots. The underskirt on both "dolls" have a silver glitter with black tulle. They both wear a bug headband with little red bug pom-poms. The only thing I wish this came with was a matching set of shoes for Hailee but I know with a variety of sizes it would be near impossible. I love Manhattan toy Company. They show a pride in their toys that I have seen with no other. Last year Hailee got the Manhattan baby Stella from Santa. This year Santa just may have a few more Manhattan toys on his sled for her and her big sister. 

The Groovy Girl doll is such a great alternative to those expensive plastic dolls that come with the different beds, clothes etc. Groovy Girls offer all different extras for their line. They have beds, horses and other clothes too! And other sets like this Lana Lady Bug set with the matching dress-up outfit. The groovy girls are perfect for all ages. They are soft and cuddly with the ease to wash and change their clothing. I have already washed the dress-up outfit (because it's hard to get it clean when Hailee wants to wear it all the time) and it came out of the wash still beautiful and vibrant! I would never put a costume like this in the dryer. Only because I can never bank that my dryer will not ruin some part of it. Line drying time for this was about an hour. Spot cleaning is most likely your best bet if you are in a pinch. How totally cute is this set??

I would say the quality is beyond your typical Halloween costume. This is for daily play for sure. It is also better then any "princess" dress quality I have seen in local retail stores. This is a boutique quality dress-up costume The Groovy doll itself is worth getting if your daughter is just now starting a love for dolls or even and older daughter that is into collecting dolls and wants to add more! Greatest Naps, Vol. 2: The Best of Jammy Jams Review + Giveaway

I was so happy to be able to review Greatest Naps, Vol. 2: The Best of Jammy Jams!!

I was watching Jimmy Fallon a few weeks ago and as Jimmy was interviewing Evan Rachel Wood. Her and Jimmy Fallon were speaking of their new babies. About 3 or 4 months old each. Evan had a boy and Jimmy Fallons wife had a girl. They started talking about new or hip alternative music being made into lullabies for babies and kids. I had fun with the Alternative music made into Lullabies when Hailee was first born. I could put on the lullaby version of Metallica and Hailee would actually fall asleep and stay asleep as long as music was playing. And it was fun for me because I could actually hum the words and she would be none the wiser When in actuality it was considered heavy metal or alternative.

Some parents and readers I know are not highly impressed with Miley Cyrus right now. But, If you heard Jammy Jams version of "Wrecking Ball" you would get a kick out of the melody! I personally am in love with their version of "Champagne Supernova" by Oasis . Solely because that was my jam in High School. I still use Jammy Jams lullabies even though Hailee is 3. They work so well during "quiet time". Or if she decides it's a "nap time" day. I can get her to settle down and play quietly when I turn on the iPad tunes and the rockin' lullabies start. Then, I can go about my day and hum along to the tunes as well. It's fun and also a great way to have a nice car drive without your kid screaming for the annoying "Wheels on the Bus". I just cannot handle it. Driving in Vegas is hard enough without having to hear repetitive kiddo lyrics. Jammy Jams would be a great gift for a new parent or a kid that is still nap time age. Even as a baby shower gift. I wished they had this when I was pregnant with Sunni. I had headphones that I could hook up to my growing belly and Sunni in the womb would listen to Beethoven, Bach, and lullaby's. It would have been a real kick (no pun intended) to let her listen to the rock lullaby's back then!

I vowed this year that priority would be give to grades, attitudes, language. I have succeeded (or so my opinion is) in the areas of the kids being polite, thankful, generous, and I pride myself on showing my kids how to be responsible for themselves. Making their own lunch (minus my 3 year old of course) and cleaning up their messes. Cleaning their laundry and being responsible for all school work. You cannot be a prefect parent. And where I lack as a Mother my Husband picks up the slack and enforces. And where we both lack we both try to learn from our mistakes and solve any problems as they arise.

Parenting is hard. I would never say it has been easy. Even before I had kids, I baby and toddler sitter. As a preteen and teenager  I was a sitter for family, friends of family and neighbors weekly. My weekends were never spent partying. I was a sitter. It's what I loved doing. I would rather spend the night taking care of toddlers and babies than going to a house party or a slumber party. It's just who I am. I have a very bad habit of putting others before myself.

I am holding onto this book. It will be my kid bible. My manual for situations and outcomes I want to have answers.

I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I was to get these in the mail! I think I was a little more excited then Sunni Bunny was. Well, she was at school when I received them so I KNOW that I was more excited at the time! I was able to review Cindy (Cinderella) and M (Little Mermaid). It's refreshing to see an actual teen version of these characters. The clothes are so well made and they came with the cutest of accessories.

Cindy- Hi, My name is Teen Cinderella. My friends call me Cindy. I go to school at Fairytale High with three of the coolest kids in the Kingdom- Rapunzel, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. I have the best shoe collection...Although, I always seem to be missing one!I could dance all night, But I never stay out past midnight. I can't wait to have a ball with my Prince Charming at the school Prom!

Sunni said that if she were to design these dolls this is exactly the way she would imagine them. The hair on both dolls is very well rooted and sturdy. The plastic accessories like the shoes are VERY well made. I love Cindy's "glass" slippers. They are very clear and not easily breakable.  Each character is different enough to tell what they represent. I've been collecting dolls since I can remember. Since before I could remember actually. (My Mother was a doll collector as well).

M- Hi, my name is Teen Little Mermaid. My friends call me M. I am so excited to be going to Fairytale High with my BFFS- Tinker Bell, Alice and Belle. I am so in love with the beach and swimming! I live in a Palace under the sea with my family and swim many miles every morning to get to school. I am also captain of the swim team! You can also find me singing my heart out before school after school and even during school! Singing is one of my favorite things to do in the whole wide world. I know my voice classes at Fairytale High will help my singing be even better.

 I can confidently tell you that these dolls are excellent! The face paint, the heads and the joints are all very sturdy and ready for play. I am aware that some current dolls in this genre are quite breakable and do not hold a candle to the Girls of Fairytale High. S-K Victory has done a fantastic job of creating a beautifully detailed doll.

A Perfect Gift for the Holidays- Saving Memories Forever Feature

Saving Memories is an app and website I whole heartily believe in. Sadly, I lost my Mother when she was only 43. If I had this app and/or website I would not have to sift through piles of VHS and Beta (yeah, beta) home movies, just so I could hear her voice. Priceless stories that I am slowly now loosing because it has been over 10 years. 

   I recently used this program to record my grandparents, they are in their late 70's and early 80's. Some of my Grandfathers Navy stories are now recorded for my children and their children to listen to. I also have decided to record my own stories for my children. I wish everyone understood how important it is for children to understand how and why their family became. Well, a family. Why decisions are important and how much they are loved. So many times I wished just to hear my mother say my name one more time. Call me "Silly Goose". As she so lovingly did. Hear her laugh. Now I have the chance to leave that behind for my children. It really is priceless for a genealogy nerd like me.

  Personally I am a lefty. I use pens and pencils daily because I love to draw. Throughout my School career I started to obtain a callus on the top joint of my middle finger from writing. I've had it forever. Writing, I put a lot of pressure on my fingers. I've always had to use those rubber triangle pencil covers and it never really proved to make writing more comfortable or decrease the callus. Now the Uglee pen is different. Well, let me ask you this question, 
 How many times in your life were you swamped by a feeling “ I could have done better?"
We all plan to do many things, we complete some and grow averse towards the rest. Somehow something (low/high priority) props up in the middle and we end up losing the race. The other thing is procrastination; we always have our reasons for not doing the right things at the right time. Procrastination, in essence is the king when it comes to self sabotage.



 I am not telling this for the sake of the review, but the 30-40 Minutes you spend reading this book a day will change your perspective on your daily regular tasks . The book is available on  Amazon, do read it, and I am sure you’ll refer it to others

Do you want to make a difference? Become a better you? Trying to find yourself? This book guides you in the way not to be timed about your life. After all. It is yours. You are the commander of your own ship. Have the courage to come forward and make a change. Jaha Knight writes a beautifully descriptive self-help book that routes you to make yourself a better you. She creates a picture of where to go and how to create your "lifescape".
