The Back Pain Conspiracy E-Book Review

The Back Pain Conspiracy E-Book Review

The best thing I could have ever done was read this eBook PRIOR to having my back surgery. In March of 2006 I had a discography and a week later I was prepped and ready for my L-4 to S-1 surgery to fuse my spine and it included some major pins, rods and screws all titanium.

"The Back Pain Conspiracy" by Gillian Hubble gives you an inside look into the details of how to really watch your back and lose that awful pain!

There is more to the back pain epidemic than you think…

Are you considering drugs, procedures, or even major surgery for your back pain? If you value your future back health, don’t do anything until you have read this book. Author Gillian Hubble exposes secrets that have been buried in the medical literature for decades.

For the first time, get an evidence-based look at back pain causes and the effectiveness of 21 of the most popular conventional and alternative back pain treatments. What works? What doesn’t? Told from the perspective of a back pain survivor and healthcare professional, The Back Pain Conspiracy unearths the startling facts behind the mythology, so you can understand your pain and how to lose it.

You Will Learn:

 - Why you have back pain, and why it won’t go away
 - How to identify back pain myths and misconceptions
 - What the most—and least—effective back pain treatments are
 - When to pursue which types of treatment
 - Where to look for long-term back pain relief

Ever since my surgery I have been diving into holistic and  European ways to ease the back pain. And yes after the surgery I have continued having pain. Now if I would have read this book prior I would have known to check out certain ways prior to seeing a doctor. It all balances out. I do not want to give too much away but this book will give you all the steps you should take before getting a doctors opinion. And why not right? It's always best to try and cure your pain prior to taking major risks right?

Animal Art - Prints, Posters, Canvas, Photographs & Framed Art Review + Giveaway

The wonderful portrait I chose from Fulcrum Gallery

Artwork is such a personal necessity in my life. my walls cannot be bare. One thing that is interesting about my personal home but my extended family as well. We all have homes that tell a story. My Grandparents my Aunt and Uncle. It is my Aunt and Grandmother that taught me how to make my home full of memories and stories. It's them that I thank. For instance my Aunts living room is filled with dachshund items. A collection of sorts. Each is a gift, a story, a memory. My Aunt is a true NSPCA hero. She loves all animals. She is a current owner of 3 dachshunds. She donates to the NSPCA and she also volunteers whenever possible. So it makes sense that her living room would be filled with dachshunds right?

When I was given the opportunity to review Fulcrum Gallery Animal Art it was really hard to choose which one I wanted to review. Fulcrum Gallery literally has over 1,000 portraits to choose from. After getting lost in the beautiful photos I finally chose the above Dachshund portrait. I love the ability to choose how you want the picture to be framed, mounted etc. I chose for this picture to be wrapped canvas. When it arrived it was extremely well packed, nothing in shipment would harm this picture at all! They ship so fast. From creation to my doorstep in little to no time at all.

It is so very gorgeous!! See picture above! I was blown away at the quality. As soon as it is hung I will take another photo. Make sure you also write down the measurements because I didn't and I was pleasantly pleased at how large the portrait was. The quality of the portrait, shipping time, response time, the care in packaging etc. really does deserve a 5/5 stars! This is the best portrait company I have reviewed. Take a look at what they have to offer. You just may find something you cannot live without!

Review- eNVy Foundation Beauty Awards #BeautyFightsCancer #ENVYFoundation

 Las Vegas eNVy Foundation
2014 Beauty Awards

My look for the night. Retro-Dress thanks to ModCloth
Makeup and Hair by Moi'

I was so excited to attend this event. A first for people like me who are not in the Cosmetology industry. The nights events started at Stoney's at Town Square. I arrived promptly at 5:00 pm. I was all a flush at the dressed up gals. The hair, the clothes, the shoes oh my. This was going to be an awesome event just by the looks of the guests invited. Least we not forget about the men. You all looked dapper as well. But this was a girls night!

As I stepped in the front entrance with my Press/Media badge around my neck my eyes started gathering all kinds of wondrous sights. Two women painted from head to toe greeted guests with a smile and photo opportunities. I was in such a hurry to see more I did not get a chance photo with these beauties. These two painted gals were there due to the talents of Skin City Body Painting.

The talented Skin City Body Painting

I started to make my rounds and check everything out. They had some wonderful items for a silent auction, raffle tickets for some great prizes and a huge stage set up in the middle with seating for guests!

The stage view from the back. Very impressive.

The intensity started to get palpable as it was getting closer to Showtime. The crowds rustle started to get higher and higher as the first act of the night stepped on stage. The juggling and comedic act of Andy Martello! He was a hoot. The crowd was a little slow to warm up but to Andy's defense it was only 6:00 pm and people were just starting their night!

Andy Martello- Juggler, Comedian, Actor and Variety Performer

Next up was Host of the night and Comedian Angie Krum. Angie was funny and every woman could relate to her comedic situations told on stage. As a host she rolled with the punches and for the first event in eNVy Foundation history with the few small hiccups Angie Krum really held her own. By the end of the night she was really loved by all. After holding a few raffle announcements and bringing up the true stars who put this event on the map (the eNVy Foundation men). She announced the first competition of the night.

Our Host Angie Krum

On with the first competition of the night!!  This is where things were going to start to get WILD! The Pin-up competition was so outrageous! These gals were ready to walk the runway! They were all so fabulous it was hard to just pick one!!!
Here is a small sample of the Pin-Up Competition.

Talent and sassy class was abundant

Next up was one of the most talented local Vegas Comedians I have ever known. And I am not just saying that because we went to school together. I truly think he has a talent that will bring him far. Comedian Brandon "Gooch" Hahn. He was hilarious. If you ever want to hear the truth and thoughts behind Vegas locals check him out at a comedy club near you. Go to his podcast RISE TO OFFEND. You can even catch him on the radio KOMP 92.3 on Weekdays in the afternoon.

"Gooch" in all his glory

Burlesque Diva Show was coming right up! These divas know how to take the stage! Two wonderful acts with two very talented divas! Next, came the Avant-garde competition and this comp was close. All the ladies were so over the top and crafted and created to mystical fairies and nymphs. Garden spectacular splendid magic. It was all out of this world creative. You could tell in the models faces that they were having as much fun as the audience was. It was such a wonderful sight of imagination and wonderment. These competitors were not playing.  Hard work and talent shined brightly.

All the models on stage-Pin-up and Avant-garde

I was able to get some footage of the winners and all of the people on stage who took the time and challenge to make the night a great success!

The winners and runners up of the night are:

Josephine Skaught winner of Pin-up
Runner up D'hair To Be Different.

JM Hair Gallery winner of Avant-garde
 Runner up Serenity Salon.

I was also able to get a great picture up close of the Avant-garde winner JM Hair Gallery. And boy was this a wonderful decision. The hair and outfit was impeccable and if you thought that was it this model was on stilts! She spent the rest of the night on them! pure dedication!

The after-party was about to begin. The stage was quickly whisked away and the dance floor cleaned. It was time for food, fun, music, dancing and an opportunity to meet these special hair artists behind the scenes!

A few models getting ready to shake a tail feather!

As we headed later into the night about 10:00 pm the dancing started to progress, the food was settling and it was time for some more raffle fun! I was chosen to pick the winning raffle ticket for $400.00 worth of hair products along with two other prizes!

Some guests getting down to some house tunes!

Winding down as we come to a wonderful nights finish I truly had a blast. It was such a great experience and from talking to the crowd everyone is excited to start this tradition and continue this every year.

Now a few words from eNVy Foundation:
