Las Vegas Monster Jam Finals
March 21st - 22nd
Believe it or not this was my first time attending a Monster Truck event. I have been to more then my share of Car Shows that have famous Monster Trucks in them. But as far as an event showing what they can do? This was my very first!! I'd like to admit the moment I took my seat I was glued to the scene. It was so magical, infectious. It really was more then what I ever expected. I attended with my husband (a fan of any type of competition involving a vehicle) our 10 year old daughter and our 15 year old son. This is truely an event for all ages. The feeling in the air was so exciting!
As the cars came out I instantly picked my favorite. The "Avenger" it was a model of one of my favorite classic cars, a 56' 57' Chevy. Just beautiful. And it also gave it a bonus point for the color. My favorite, purple.
The Avenger in action
This event was so magical. The fireworks, the music, the trucks. All were superb!! My family had a great time. I HIGHLY recommend checking a Monster Jam event out. One bit of advice, bring some ear plugs if you have a sensitive kid or adult for that matter. I loved it!
One of the drivers in the "hot seat".
Seeing the drivers so close and being able to have them see your influence on their attitudes is really heart warming. They have such a love for their fans. Boy, do they show it!
Just a very small portion of the fireworks you can see.
It was truely a massive form of "American" Culture. These drivers have been to over 50 countries. I cannot even imagine how they got these massive trucks over deep ocean waters.
My Daughters favorite- Scooby Doo
If you have a son that loves Super Heros then this is an added event you may see great trucks of Spiderman, Batman, Captian America, and Iron Man and that is just to name a few. Seeing kids in the costumes in addition to their favorite truck, it was so cute!
The winner of the Freestyle Monster Jam. "Metal Mulisha", this is the jump the driver did right out of the gate! One of only a few high jumps of the night!
I would like to thank all that made this event special.
