3 More days to go...

In a few days I will be a little more "pain free". I go to the Doctor on Monday. Since I aspirated and they could not finish the nerve burning. I get the pleasure of going through it all over again. Only this time. (And this is the cherry on top) I have to be semi-awake. All because my tummy cannot handle a little sleepy time potion. (aka anaesthesia) Well, I suppose after all is said and done if it relieves my back pain it will all be worth it. Or at least that is what I am tricking my mind to believe.Shhhh

Welcome to the Just Natural Organic Care Giveaway!

*~ 3 products of your choice! ~*

Hosted by: Savory Savings

Sponsored by: Just Natural Organic Care

Just_natural_logo

Just_natural_productsAs a society, we are seemingly more worried about what we put into our bodies – you see a bigger push for stores and even restaurants to offer organic, all-natural and gluten-free foods, but I wonder, does that same desire for chemical-free living extend to our body care products as well?  Pick up any bottle of “mainstream” shampoo and you may find yourself face to face with a list of ingredients that you cannot pronounce, or that contain harsh agents such as parabens, alcohol, and sulfates, just to name a few.  If we demand all-natural products for the inside, we should do the same for the outside!  Just Natural Organic Care offers a full line of hair and skin products made from organic ingredients, as well as being free of sulfates, parabens, alcohol and gluten!  In addition to that, they are also vegan and cruelty-free!  Krista over at Savory Savings had the chance to try out Just Natural Organic Care’s psoriasis line of haircare products including the shampoo, conditioner, vinegar rinse and body soap!  Be sure to check out her full review as she shares about softer hair and an itch-free scalp for the whole family!

Would you like to win three products of your choice from Just Natural Organic Care?  Enter with the Giveaway Tool below!  This giveaway is open to US residents only, ages 18 and older.  The giveaway will run from November 13, 2013 through November 27, 2013 at 11 PM CST.

Review- 'Too Much Information', All New Technothriller By David Haskell.

In an era of terrorism and pandemics, with constant threats from differing but equally destructive sources, Thermo-Magnetic Imaging machines represent a seemingly perfect solution. But as privacy and health concerns grow ever more complex, this cutting edge technology delivers more than anyone had bargained for. While the forces behind the scenes fight to conceal their true agenda, the public struggles to cope with a new paradigm so invasive their innermost secrets are laid bare under its powerful lens. Rob Folsom is a civil liberties activist, a staunch defender of privacy rights. Rosa Perez, a government agent specializing in surveillance, seems an unlikely candidate for him to represent. As Rob is pulled into her world, a world of high-tech spying, corporate intrigue, and black ops government agencies, he becomes caught in a perilous game of cat and mouse. As the target of interest switches from client to advocate, Rob has to find a way to stop them before they sabotage everything he has worked for. I do not call myself an expert on technothrillers, I do however love books with a sense of realism. David Haskell really knows how to write. This book page by page makes your heart start to pound harder and harder while keeping your attention and your mind on the story at hand. He really has the opportunity to add onto this book a series of constant heart stoppers. I would suggest this only to readers who love thrillers. Readers who enjoy reading with a sense of fear and loathing for characters. There is always something reeling your mind while flipping the pages in this book of government duping. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Almost forgot to post the Halloween Costume I made for Sunni !

My beautiful Daughter Sunni started off wanting to be Marie Antoinette. It was going to take me a while to do but she had told me in early August. In a flash came October and one thing led to another and another and I could not even get the wig done with what little time I had left. So a second idea was born. Sunni decided she wanted to be a Super Hero. But, not just any Hero. One she could relate to age wise. My daughter is 10. Long story short she saw a trailer for the movie Kickass 2 and decided she wanted to be "Hit Girl". Now Amazon and other online costume retailers sell this costume but they are all in adult sizes. I am assuming since this was not a film for kids this was the reason. So we were on our own to make the costume ourselves. Some ducktape, some stiff felt, and some thrift store finds and TA-DA! We have it. Here is a picture of Sunni on Halloween with some family. She was VERY proud of how it turned out. I think the most expensive part was the wig and the boots. Now that I have over 300 days. I will get that Marie Antoinette dress done for next year!!

Seers: Ten Tales Of Clairvoyance Ebook -REVIEW

Ten Tales Of Clairvoyance Is clairvoyance a gift or a curse? Imagine getting a glimpse of what the future holds, and ask yourself how you would deal with the burden of this foresight. Is it right to interfere with the pre-ordained? Is it your duty to avert the doom, or will your meddling make matters worse? Is it even possible to change the future? What if those with the power to prevent a disaster disdain your warnings? What if you see what will happen, but have no idea when it will come to pass? Is your vision to be trusted? What if your interpretation of what you see is wrong? In this book, ten authors share their visions of what it means to be clairvoyant, each with their individual way of telling a story and their own writing style. They seek to entertain you and at the same time to make you think. Some yarns take place in the distant past, some in fantasy lands, and others in our familiar modern world. Each seer in this book is different. They interpret dreams, read the tarot, consult the stars and gaze into the crystal ball, or simply receive visions in their mind. Some are professional future-gazers, others dabble or are even caught unawares. Some welcome the experience, some seek it, and others try to close that channel of their mind. Many of the stories in this book have been previously published in magazines, ezines, anthologies and collections. The authors stem from all over the world and use different versions of the English language with variations in word choices, spellings, grammar and punctuation. Enjoy the ten glimpses into seersʼ minds. But beware: the visions may be disturbing. 1.BEWARE OF TUESDAYS by Frederick Langridge Would the railway ghost still show herself? 2.A GOOD TRADE by Tracie McBride Nadia does not say exactly when her prophecy will be fulfilled. 3.THE VISION by April Grey Cherie foresees her future husband – a monster. 4.THE TALE OF THE AGGRIEVED ASTROLOGER by Jack Nicholls Ho Bian can ride the winds, speak to fishes, and read the stars. 5.DANCE WITH THE DEVIL by Carole Ann Moleti Taina won’t rest until she finds out who murdered her family 6.THE WATCHER by Jeff Hargett “I don’t frighten for fun. What I see for you is bad. Very bad.” 7.SENSTORY by Mohanalakshmi Rajakumar What courses in the girlʼs veins – death or hope? 8.EZRA’S PROHECY by Deborah Walker The old hermit writes down what she hears – then casts the prophecy into the fire 9.I COULD HAVE HEARD YOU FROM ACROSS THE STREET by Douglas Kolacki Does Janie know when the Rapture will happen? 10.PROPHETESS by Rayne Hall I am cursed to see the future, always to speak the truth, and never to be believed. I give this read an 7.5/10 Ten exciting, mysterious, thought-provoking, entertaining and sightful stories by ten authors: Carole Ann Moleti, Frederick Langridge, Tracie McBride, Douglas Kolacki, April Grey, Jack Nicholls, Rayne Hall, Jeff Hargett, Deborah Walker, Mohanalakshmi Rajakumar. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Starting a new wave diet... Garcnia Cambodia and Colon Cleanse

**I will update as soon as I get my starting info and beginning weight and I will update once a week as I take the supplements. I will also be adding videos to VINE and YOUTUBE under my Screen name DVLDOLL I will also be adding bi-weekly pictures to show progress if any. Let me reintroduce myself to the Blogging community and give a little reasoning as to why I am going to be taking this big step. Hello, My name is Traci aka DVLDOLL. I am a 35 year old mother of four, born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. My whole life living in the city of Sin has never had an impact on my weight. At 16 I was about 120 lbs. I never really thought I would gain so much as an adult and becoming a mother as I have. I am only 5'0"-5'1". So I am of "Stocky" stature. As a teen I had daily and I mean DAILY bouts with my family and my weight. I was never overweight by any means. But my mother was 5'0" and only weighed 80-90 lbs. So by comparison I was overweight to her. Going on Phen Phen and then having my own personal trainer as a teen for my Christmas present was not unusual. When I turned 20 and Had my son (who is now 15) I was at my heaviest. I was 240 lbs pregnant and then I went to 220 lbs. after having him. Wearing a size 7 to blowing up to a size 20 was mind blowing and confidence shattering. And it didn't help after my son was 3 months old finding out that I was pregnant with my second son. I couldn't snap back to my weight for two years. After having my second son (who is 14 now) I put down the law. I was not going to be pregnant again until I lost all the weight. Well, after losing my Mother to illness and divorcing my then husband, I decided to live for myself. Life is too short to feel like you are stuck in a relationship. After re-marrying and being happy for the first time with myself I decided to go ahead and have a third baby. I got my girl. After five years of trying to lose all that yulky weight. I just gained it all back when I became pregnant. Sunni is now 10.
October 2012 With my oldest son Michael I had back surgery in March of 2006. And I lost some weight because of the medication and like any other type of major surgery you are bound to lose something. I went down to a size 18. Then, for a short time in 2008/09 when I was working for Aria Hotel and Casino as a PBX operator I lost about 20-30 lbs. Not because I was working my tail off but because I was sicker than a dog with some sort of flu for 3 Months solid. I wouldn't recommend it. I got a lot of comments from family members saying they noticed my weight loss and it felt good but, for all the wrong reasons. I went from wearing a size 18 down to a 14/16. I vowed never to go to a size 18 again. No looking back. When I was wearing a 14/16 I was about 165-170 lbs.Ever since then I have yo-yo'd from 180-195. Still keeping in the size 14/16 area depending on where I shop. Let's just say Old Navy is a big ego booster..haha So here's how I decided to start this "new fad". Almost 2 weeks ago I went in to my spine doctor for a routine nerve burning procedure. Long story short, I aspirated on the table while under anesthesia (propanol). I ended up getting bronchitis induced from aspiration. Left and right (even my optometrist) has told me to get my blood pressure down. I have gone to my general doctor and she would not put me on blood pressure meds. Saying I am too young and I should just lose weight. So as you may tell this is beyond a vanity thing. Would I love to wear cute dresses without belly fat. Obviously..haha Would I love to look on the outside the way I feel on the inside. Who wouldn't? I had already put in my head over this past weekend that I want a lifestyle change. And actually all of October I was trying to figure out the best way to do so on a budget with 4 kids a husband a Mother-in-law, 4 dogs and a lizard..haha My problem in the past has been "not eating". and drinking way too much soda. I live on that stuff. So I bought chicken, vegetables and fruit. Then today I ran across something on Facebook. Now I watch Dr. Oz on occasion. And I know he has a true following and is not by any means a gimmick sorta guy. So when he started talking about a product called Garcnia Cambodia. I leaned in a little closer. Could my ears be lying?? Did Dr. Oz just give a "Holy Grail" information out?? Well, I did some research. And I encourage you to do the same. I am not giving out any websites or product info. In my search I found a LOT of scams or something that looked like a real weight loss journey only to listen to the person sound like they were reading off of a script. This is going to be my honest picture of what I am going thru. My feelings day to day. How I feel as a whole. Energy levels and results either they turn out good or not so good. Join in my journey or just be there to watch me succeed or fail. Either way we will find out if this truly works! I will give a run down of what I eat on a daily basis if you choose to ask otherwise this will just be results and feelings. I would also love to hear your story. Feel free to e-mail me and I would love to post a story once a Month or so about someone else's journey. DVLDOLL@gmail.com GOODLUCK!!! ~Dvldoll

REVIEW: Total Nutrition

Total Nutrition I was able to be one of the first people to try this product. Being overweight and trying to lose said weight for about 10 years now..haha I was more than happy to try anything that promised health and an easier way then grabbing a pop tart and heading out the door without thinking twice. I was not turned on by the color but, honestly it was a great taste and it didn't have that "diet shake" gritty taste. I was energized by day three and I was happy to think I was doing something for myself instead of thinking how I was going to have to justify that next rootbeer..lol. I have ordered more. Just waiting on the shipment. I refuse to try anything else. After the package was sent I was hooked. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

League Of Legends Summoner School ~Review

http://DVLDOLL.lolguides.hop.clickbank.net/?tid= Summoner School First I would like to say that I am not an "expert" gamer. I am also not a casual gamer either. I am a "Girl Gamer" and I have been playing on consoles since the first Nintendo NES system. I would say Atari and truth is I did play it but I had no clue what I was doing. I was too young. When I got Castlevania in my Easter basket one year I was over the moon and since addicted to games. League Of Legends has always been a game that has been intimidating to me personally. I try to stay away from anything time consuming just because whenever I start up I seemed to never get help or I got too much help and it turned into an overwhelming experience. Once I was offered the opportunity to take a class on LoL. I could not even click fast enough to accept this once in a lifetime blessing. The classes are not piled on nor are they intended to overwhelm the newest of players. They are to help you improve on whatever skills you feel you need help on. Think of it as an older sibling. They want you to do better. Therefore they want to teach you the right way to do things. No cutting corners. Example: See..What did I say? LIFE SKILLS PEOPLE. This is more than a Walkthrough. It's the way every Gamer should approach any game, PC or Console. League of Legends Guide What else can I say? Paul Patton is a genius. And he makes playing LoL fun for any age. So, Check out LoLGuides.com for all your League of Legends needs! Summoner School Sample

2 Cane Expressions- Keep Moving ,In Style! Review

This cane cover is from Cane Expressions. We received the leopard print. It was not very easy to get on for my Mother-in-laws arthritic fingers but it does look very stylish on and it goes with many things. I would say this is a must if you want to spruce up something that is a must use on a daily basis. This runs a little over $10 after taxes. The fabric is pretty stretchy, durable, easy to clean and ready to wash at any time. Put this on your can, buy more for a walker? Use it for a crutch. Really there's more uses to this then just for a cane. It comes in two different patterns Leopard, and Zebra buy both for any outfit combo you could think of! I would give this product a 7 out of 10 because it jst needs to be a little more adjustable. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Monster High Operetta Review

Sunni hasn't always been in love with "Barbies". Now me? I was OBSESSED as a child all the way up until I was 16. Yes ladies and gents. I wasn't all head over heels for the New Kids On the Block UNTIL I stopped playing with dolls. Okay maybe a little before. But, can you blame me? So a couple years ago. Around Christmas of 2011 I started to see what was on the market. And being the hip Mom that I am. I did some research. Looking at what was at comic con was my main focus. Some doll that would impress my daughter. Get her into dolls like her good old Ma. And BAM! I found a quirky yet totally barbie worthy Doll. The series was called "Monster High" and each doll was uniquely made in the form of children of iconic "Monsters". Your typical Dracula, Frankenstein, Poltergeist, Boogyman, etc. I could go on and on. And that is what makes these dolls so unique. I am currently working on an unboxing for Youtube. But this is my 10 year old daughter Sunni holding Operetta (Daughter of The Phantom of the Opera) pretty clever huh? She has a scar on the left cheek that details all the way down her left arm. She does wear a mask. This outfit she is wearing is actually a dress pack sold separately. Mommy has the original Operetta in the box still. And the dollhouse behind Sunni is actually a custom Monster High "Haunted House" painted black for that spooky feel by Moi'. I am hoping one day Monster High by Mattel will get into creating a really nice elaborate doll house for those die hard fans like my daughter and I. If you are looking for a doll unique (often imitated) Barbie-esque then this is your best bet. I am in contact with Mattel to do future reviews. If it gets a little jumbled then I will hold a contest for my most prized possession my 1st series Operetta still in the box. Keep in mind they no longer sell the original Operetta. But for the sake of my fans I am willing to part with her. More reviews of various Monster High dolls and many other brands of dolls will be on their way. Keep this page marked in your favorites for upcoming dolls that will either tickle your fancy or flop dead in the water. The price point for this doll in store in a rating of $-$$. Which evens out from $15-25 retail.

Have any questions. Just use the contact me page. Would like to know more about giveaways? Click on the Giveaway rules above. My Policy on reviews? Click the Policy page. Happy reading!  .

PRINCESS SOPHIA AND THE FROG IV - Kindle Ebook Review

Our 3 year old daughter has a Kindle. When we were set to review the Ebook Princess Sophia and the Frog IV we weren't sure how our daughter would feel. A week later and most likely 20 reads later our daughter still loves to hear me read it and flip the pages on the kindle. These stories are very well animated and brought to life with a tale that little girls love to listen to. It will for sure be a constant bed time story for a long time.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Welcome August 2013

It's been a pleasant Fall/Spring/Summer so far. My birthday is done ad over so is Michael and Joey's, Eric's BIG 40 was in July, then came Hailee's and Sunni was the last on the list of July at age ten!

I cannot believe Hailee is already three!! Time flies. Sometimes it's hard to raise a child that you not sure to gauge how they will act. With Sunni it was easy. Hailee is a little more....Wild. But she reminds us daily that nothing is perfect and the house is meant to be a mess with a 3 year old around. It's impossible to keep clean. At this rate in all Hailee's waking hours I would have to follow behind her with one of those Wonka-machines..lol.

August was here.. What is the deal with September?

First, I have to say October is my favorite Month. September going so fast is a nice welcome. Cooler weather in Vegas, warmer clothes and the sweet smell of pumpkin spices and cinnamon. I wish it was October already..

Once again it has taken me a couple Months to get back to my blog. Life gets in the way. Major rip tides occur and BAM! We now have a new addition to the family.

Hailee-(With Sunni)
This little chub is our new adopted daughter. I'll make a long story short. My cousin on my Mother's side has 2 girls ages 1 and 2. She was going in to get her tubes tied in January of 2009 and was surprised to find out she was pregnant. Not wanting the baby because she is single and on her own taking care of the two she already has. Fast forward 7 Months thru the drama and tears. Hailee was born July 22, 2010. 1 Month premature. My cousin leaves the Hospital and decides to give the baby to Eric and I to raise as our own. I go to the Hospital to visit Hailee and fall in love at first sight. July 31st the papers were signed. I roomed in the Hospital with Hailee to bond on August 3rd for 24 hours. (was supposed to be 48 but I was cleared by the Doctor after 24) Came home and slept a TON. (I knew what I was preparing for..lol) The NICU wanted Hailee to feed better (more) so she was kept a little while longer. August 5th Hailee came home!
Needless to say sleep was never an easy thing for me. But, now I feel like I miss it more then ever! Hailee is up to 4-5 oz. of Formula. Her Bio-Mom (my cousin) hasn't seen her since July 31st. (she has called a few times) We are doing great. The kids love her like their own and we love to take her out and show her off. Within just a few weeks I've had to get diapers, wipes, baby clothes, bassinet, burp cloths, and bibs, formula and bottles. I have forgotten how much a baby needs just to be content. (it's been 7 years) Hailee is worth it.
It's a daily struggle thinking the Bio-Mom (my cousin) will just pop back into our lives and want Hailee back. I know it's not possible but, this world can be confusing and people can change from one second to the next. It's taken me a few weeks but, I have invested myself to Hailee and so has Eric.It took him a week longer then me but, that was to be expected.
I feel blessed to have another baby in the house. It's been a while. And Eric and I were considering my health to have another one. Now, that decision has been made for me. No, 8-9 Months of pain. She's already here. 1/4 of my blood runs through her veins and that's enough for me. She is my daughter and always will be. She'll call me Mommy and Eric Daddy. I have 2 boys and now 2 girls. My life is complete.
I suppose this blog has gone from complaining about my back problems, to talking about my family to talking about what I need to improve to ,now back to talking about my family and how I will raise my adopted daughter. I think it's a turn in the right direction.

Still not over.. Busy busy..

Last week and this week are as usual busy...I had the Dentist appt. yesterday.. Dr. Rosler tomorrow and the PA on Friday. It seems never ending. And with the back pain slowly creeping back up on me, it seems the worst is yet to come.

Last Month I had about the 10th epidural shot in my back to kill some pesky nerves.. The bad thing about nerves? Yea, they grow back. In the past I have gone a solid 3 Months in a row pain free from the epidural shot. That was over 2 years ago. Since then the epi's have only lasted max a few weeks. This last time seemed to do the trick.. Until I tried to go to sleep Sunday night and last night. I get super restless laying in bed. Then the back pain started in. The annoying, pain in my back came back.. Like it was saying "Hello, don't forget about me". So I go in for my post-epi visit with Dr. Rosler tomorrow. He's going to ask me if I have any pain and once again I have to bare bad news. Yes, I have had a LOT less "pain" days but, no the pain is still lurking. I guess I should be positive and look at it from the view that at least it's lessen and not the same as previous.

Last night was fun with Sunni. We said a prayer and before bed she reminded me that we needed to say another one. Last night she fell asleep in record time. Which makes me know the prayer put her mind at ease and she went to sleep sound and content. Sunni is my special angel. Sent for not only her learning but, to teach me as well. When I think nothing in this world is going right all I have to do is look at Sunni and know that she is everything I love about this world. Her, Michael and Joey and Eric are my world.

So enough ranting.. I just got scared half to death from Molli the Chi barking all of a sudden. Holy Cow! Back to tending to my little ray of sunshine..

Missing Teeth and New Promises

I'm going to try again... Life wouldn't be worth living if we didn't try...

Went back to the Dentist today to check on my stitches.. He gave me an A+! (I'll spare you the pictures) Still a little sore on the right. But, pain that I thought would never go away has all but almost faded. I also got a news flash from said Dentist.. I have a really high tolerance for pain medication. He said they he couldn't even get me out of the first stages of anesthesia. After dose after dose of medication into my i.v. the Dentist just decided to make me as comfortable as possible.. So out comes the reason why I woke up in the middle.. I didn't really "just" wake up. I was actually awake the WHOLE time!! In the middle the medication wore off and I had to be dosed again and again to get me to the stage of being "comfortable" again.. The dentist told me today that he wouldn't want to get into a tequila shot contest with me... Good thing I don't drink...

Eric and I decided to make some new promises to each other today and also to Sunni. Here are some...

*Save More
*Enrich Sunni's life with the Gospel
*Pray often
*Work smarter not harder
and...
*Work towards the things we want in life and not away..

05/10/2010- Molar Extractions

I just wanted to write a little bit about my trip to the dentist. So I will in the future NEVER forget the pain that I am in right this moment.

The first week of May my back teeth started to bother me a little bit. When I brushed I noticed my back bottom teeth (more specifically #18 and #31) were really sensitive to the toothpaste I was using. Being the explorer I am, I took a gander back there. Noticed a small hole in #31 and a huge hole in #18 that wasn't bothering me as much as the first one. It was more an irritation then a pain. Told Eric but...(maybe my worst mistake) even though we have dental insurance I still wanted to wait. Because Eric (my husband) works for CCSD and stops working June 4th. So I know we need to save all the money we can for the couple of Months he's off for work. I decided to not worry about my tooth and just make sure I keep any food out of there and brush. A LOT more.

A few days later Sunni had a bowling Birthday party to go to on Nellis Airforce Base. So we ran some errands that day and since I didn't get the boys until later after the B-Day party. We decided to eat at In-n-Out. Now I haven't been there in quite sometime. And I was really kinda thrilled to be eating there. We got our food and sat down. Only 40min. Until we needed to be at the gate of NAFB for the party. Plenty of time.. I take my first bite.. Then go to take my second. As I do so Eric asks.."So, Hows that tooth?" Just then my tooth must have heard him. I got THE biggest SHOCK in my jaw and got teary eyed. Told Eric I couldn't eat anymore. He knew what happened.

It only felt like a few minutes passed but, it was time for us to head to the B-Day party. So we bagged up my food (hoping I could eat later when my tooth quit wigging out.) And went to the party.

The party was cute and Sunni was the only girl from school there. She had a ton of fun. I on the other hand could not stop thinking about that pain. What if it came back? What if it didn't stop? I HAVE to go to a dentist now..Dangit!!

We left the party. It was a hit. Sunni's friend loved his gift and i got a bite of a cupcake. So all was good..Or so I thought.

After that food problem.... It was all up-hill. I could hardly eat anything. I went to the dentist that next week. Bad news all around. Almost all the molars I had metal bands on for my braces. (which was back in my Junior and Senior year of high school) had almost all but rotted two of my molars. #31 and #18.. along with that I need a root canal on the #30, 19 and a molar on my upper right jaw.. UGHHH..

A little back story... When I had braces it was all my Mom. I had no choice in the matter of what the dentist was going to do to my teeth. I had two eye teeth pulled on numbing meds only. From the braces and that point on I hated the dentist. In 2005 after my back surgery I had a big problem with my wisdom teeth trying to come in. Luckily I only had 3 but one of the 3 was coming in sideways. Again, I thought I would be a big girl and only try a CD player and sedative pill just to calm my nerves. I heard EVERYTHING over the CD player... And the sedative didn't really work because of all the pain medication I was on after the back surgery. Yet another painful experience.

So, you can see my worry when the doc tells me I need two teeth pulled and 3 crowns cut off, the "pulp" scraped out, and a fake tooth put on top times three.. (To put it simply).

So I told the dentist I was nervous. I had to much done already to scare me to death. He had another dentist look at my back molars and told him to refer me to an Oral Surgeon. My biggest concern? What or how was I going to eat until I went to the Oral Surgeon?? This was Wednesday. I made the referral appt. with the Oral Surgeon for Friday. Hoping I would get it all done.. While also hoping I could be knocked out (General Anesthesia).

When into the very nice office of the Oral Surgeon to only find out the infection is so bad I do infact need General Anesthesia.. (Yay!) The bad news is.. I couldn't eat anything for 8 hours prior and wait until Monday to have it done.. (What??) So I went home.. Still taking the penicillin the prior dentist gave me... And having SHOOTING elecritic shocks in my jaw the WHOLE weekend. Crying, praying on my knees kinda pain.. Hoping it will all soon be over.. Hoping Monday would come quick.. It didn't. The weekend unlike anyother went by soooo slow. Sunni was bummed to see me in so much pain. Michael and Joey didn't understand it. And Eric being the rock that he is, just stroked me hair and told me to "calm down, it'll be over soon".

Finally Monday morning! I got up brushed what I could of my teeth and then with Eric driving headed to the OS in Summerlin. After paying the copay of the insurance (which to my surprise was only $94.00. Eric was lead to a waiting room and I was lead to the operating room. They gave me an i.v. and put a little mask thingy over my nose and I was out..

All good right?? Yeah RIGHT!

Mid-tooth pulling my body decides to WAKE ME UP! I felt it all. The sounds, the twisting the pulling the PAIN.. I start yelling.. "Ow, Ow, OWWW" the doctor tells the nurse, "I think she needs more" then as quick as that I am back out again. Only to wake with a mega ton of gause in my mouth, a sore jaw, major swelling and asking to move into a wheelchair..

Eric brought me home and I started crying.. "I felt it" I cried.. I explained what I remembered. He said the nurse told him. And it's due to the pain medication I am on for my back. It makes me "have a high tolorence" for any medication that puts you to sleep. So good for me.. Ugh.

Today is Friday.. So it's been 4 and a half days of jaw soreness, pain, and feeling like someone punched me on both sides of my face. I read online somewhere that it takes 2 weeks for the gum to heal and about a Month to 3 for the bone/jaw to heal. I am so over this pain. I ran out of my pain medication yesterday and it has made me hate everything.. I hate people eating good food that I can't...around me.. I hate laying there with my jaw throbbing.. I hate trying to fall asleep.. I hate it all. The only good thing that came out of this is that I got 95% of my laundry done, folded and put away. Only because I wanted to do something to take my mind off the pain I was in. I will feel like I got a lot more out of this once my gums and jaw heal. No more "shocking pain" that's good. But, now I am going to be super dooper scared to get the root canals done.. I fear the worst.. I always will..

October/ Halloween 2009-
A Mermaid, An old man Zombie and a "Rockstar Zombie". These are my kids. Luckily Las Vegas was warm enough for Sunni to just wear a light long sleeve shirt under her costume and some leggings. We went to the Annual "Safe Street" which took 3 hours but, well worth it. The kids had fun and got to see a lot of other dressed up kids and a few adults! We also took the kids around the neighborhood and they came home pooped and ready to fall asleep.
I have to admit. October is my favorite Month.
